Seems to be very powerful but losing too much time trying to decode the few videos available as documentation (not mentionning the crappy music). Very frustrating… so if u are in hurry, avoid.

Good json visualizer but not for editing. It does crash every 5 minutes, cant import a json file… For a 3,59e app, I would wait for a better product. Please improve.

Lost my time trying to just add the same array key/value to a 100 objects in a single operation. Not possible. Plus it’s crazy slow (read: 5s) to show any table view with just 100 objects, which is quite unbelievable :/

Ive tested it for about 10 minutes and application crashed 3 times while I was trying to build a simple 2 nodes JSON tree structure. Its a shame, I like the idea. It should have been properly tested before the release.

JSON editing and modelling is a breeze with this app. I really love how I can use those SmarObjects recursively. So far, I dont miss a thing.

If you’re working with JSON APIs, and haven’t built your own toolchain yet, get this app! Even if you don’t use all the features, (e.g. I didn’t get anywhere near the server part, or used the code-generation yet) this thing is an absolute productivity booster: It makes inspecting, and drafting payloads for JSON APIs a breeze! What’s even better is that you have all the resources in their respective contexts, and can pin your own notes to them — thus, documenting the API you’re currently working with.

I was a bit puzzled by some errors, that occurred with MongoDB Output… but works find if using mongoexport --jsonarray the gui could be a bit more easy to read

Overall, I quite like this app. You get a visual representation and there are a couple of tools and handy functionalities. However, there are also a couple of things that are bugging me: - The UX and the design. This app would greatly improve if the author would ask an interface and/or graphic designer to help out. - The JSON text (lower pane) is not editable - A search box: Theres no way to filter the current JSON list - Selection goes away when an entry is deleted (need the mouse to continue); these are basic list editing features that should really be handled with care. - Statistics: Theres no line- or itemNumbering, no info how many items there are Nevertheless, IMHO its the most advanced app regarding JSON content in the Mac App store at this moment.

I use this app every day to do my work build iPhone apps that connect to an HTTP server and get JSON data. Thanks for making it. Whats nice about this app over other apps is that this one saves your queries so you can go back to them.

I am writing SPA and native apps usually with large JSON schemas carrying large amount of metadata. I’ve tried using online JSON editors and they have problems with the size of the JSON. So having this native app is fantastic. It’s fast and has many more editing, retrieval and management features than online editors. Plus, who trusts anything online these days? So thanks Jan for your excellent app!

This is a great tool that can parse huge JSON trees, create mock API for your backend, and generate Objective C classes. It’s worth the money.

Tried a lot of other viewers to open large geojson/topojson files, and every other option just crashed or threw an error. This one look a little while to get the files opened (they’re big!), but it pulled it off!

Poorly handles large files. I bought that app to browse a ~35MB json file and it took a lot of time using almost 100% of my CPU to process it. The app was frozen the whole time. If the app wouldn’t be frozen and used less CPU resources, I’d be perfectly fine with the waiting time, however currently I must drop everything else and let this app finish its work. Implement large file handling properly and I’ll rate 5 stars.

It has a great potential, but it is not ideal when you need to work with big json (20-40Mb), it seems that the app does all the parsing work on the main thread, in my case when I do the http request, the app hangs for more than 10-20 mins at 100% cpu. Fortunately in the latest version, there were some improvements on the json browser (it doesnt hang when you browse your BIG json tree), so once the app parses all the json, is becomes usable. NOTE: Please add some multi threaded code and maybe also a progress when parsing, this would increase a lot the UX.

This app is a jewel, very powerful. Great application for both ios and rest api developers!
